Bike to Work Day is Wednesday in Otsego County

The Fifth Annual Bike to Work Day for Otsego County will be held Wednesday with check-in sites at more than 20 locations countywide.

New this year, organizers of the event – Otsego Regional Cycling Advocates, a committee of Otsego County Conservation Association (OCCA) – have joined forces with the National Bike Challenge, presented by the League of American Bicyclists.

Otsego County Sex Offender Faces 8 Years in Prison for Failing to Register New Addresses

Francisco Torres, a former Milford resident who was indicted last week by a Grand Jury and arrested by the Otsego County Sheriff’s Office criminal investigation division on two counts of failure to register as a sexual offender, will appear at a hearing Friday.

In February, Otsego County Sheriff investigators were performing random home checks on sexual offenders when it was discovered that 34-year-old Francisco Torres, a level two sexual offender in New York State, has not actually been living at 6165 State Highway 7 in Colliersville since December.
