In a press release on their website it was announced that the Board of Education of the Delaware Academy Central School District at Delhi will hold two Special Meetings; Thursday, August 13, 2020 and Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. in the High School Auditorium. The purpose will be to host public forums on the topic of our Reopening Plan.

Due to the current NYS limitations for public gatherings, in-person participation will be limited to 30 guests. We will be welcoming in-person parents/guardians who pre-register by calling 607-746-1306. Deadline for registration is August 12th by 2:00 p.m. for the August 13th meeting, and the deadline for registration for the August 18th meeting is August 17th by 2:00 p.m.

The meeting will also be livestreamed for those who are unable to attend in person with opportunities for questions to be submitted. A form to submit questions will be available prior to the meeting on the school website. We will do our best to answer as many questions as possible.

 District officials will also be available at the Village of Delhi Farmers Market on Wednesday, August 12th, 19th, and 26th from 11:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m. to answer your questions.

The Board will convene in an executive session immediately following the public forum to discuss matters leading to the appointment of a particular person, with no action to be taken.
