Former Delhi Deputy Supervisor Faces Grand Larceny Charges
The Town of Delhi’s former highway deputy superintendent is facing felony grand larceny charges from an investigation conducted by State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli’s office. According to a news release the investigation done by the state along with State Police and the Delaware County District’s office, found 63-year-old Brian Rosenthal of Delhi overstated his sick and leave balances by more than 270 hours between 2015 and 2019. The investigation began after a routine audit by the comptroller’s office.
“I greatly appreciate the work of the Office of the State Comptroller in bringing about this arrest. The highest standards must apply in public service and public employment,” District Attorney Hubbard said.
