On Sunday the Baseball Hall of Fame had its second-highest crowd for an induction ceremony even with the high heat Mother Nature tossed. The estimated crowd of 55,000 fans trails only the 82,000 fans that attended the 2007 induction of Tony Gwynn and Cal Ripken. One of the more poignant moments was the speech given by Brandi Halladay who represented her husband Roy who died in a 2017 plane crash off the coast of Florida.
