The Otsego County Department of Health reported yesterday (2/14) that there were 11 new confirmed cases with 11 people currently hospitalized with complications from the virus.  There are currently 99 known active cases in the county with a total now of 47 COVID-19 related deaths after two new ones yesterday. The Health Dept. has a COVID-19 dashboard with daily updates for the latest information. There is no update yet for this week on vaccine availability for those currently eligible.

Delaware County Health officials have an update from yesterday (2/14), reporting 12 new cases yesterday. There are 129 active and there are 22 people hospitalized. According to a press release from Delaware County Public Health, as of Saturday February 13, they had not received confirmation of how much 1st dose vaccine they would be receiving for this week. For information about vaccinations go to www.nyuhs.org/southerntiervax. Health officials suggest for those 65 and older, calling your local pharmacy to see when they will be receiving vaccine.

In Chenango County, the health department reported new COVID-19 stats for 2/12 on their facebook page. At that time, the health department was reporting 102 active cases, 20 hospitalizations related to the virus, and the total number of deaths related to COVID-19 complications are currently at 49. For those who are currently eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine and want to get on the county's wait list, send an email with your name, date of birth, address, phone number and eligibility criteria to COVID19@co.chenango.ny.us.
