Several months ago, UHS Delaware Valley Hospital began to hold Saturday morning office hours at its Primary Care, Walton office. “By creating more opportunities for people to access care, we hope that it will help them to avoid having to take time off from their work, or seek care in the emergency room because there are no other options over the entire weekend, said Dotti Kruppo, Director of Community Relations. The office is open until 7 PM Mondays through Thursdays.

Since the hospital opened its Community Pharmacy several years ago, it has been open until noon on both Saturday and Sunday and until 8 PM on weekdays. In order to coincide with the pharmacy’s hours, the office hours at UHS Primary Care Walton will be from 8 am to Noon, beginning Saturday, February 1. Calls for appointments are appreciated and same day appointments are available by calling 607-865-2400.

In keeping with its goal to improve access to care, the hospital’s lab and imaging (x-ray) departments offer some weekend appointments. The imaging department also has some evening appointments. The MRI unit is at DVH on Sundays. The outpatient rehabilitation department opens at 8 AM and also offers evening hours. Lab appointments can be made by calling 607-865-2165; imaging department at 607-865-2126 and the rehabilitation department at 607-865-2155.
